My Story
How I came to this work
I qualified as a nutritional therapist in 2011 after completing my undergraduate degree in nutritional science at UCD. In the years that followed, I built a practice working with clients across a wide range of health concerns — digestive issues, fatigue, weight management, and stress. I loved the work, but something kept drawing me back to one particular group: women in midlife who were being told their bloodwork was “fine” when they knew, in their bones, that something had shifted.
That something, I came to understand, was oestrogen. As I moved through my own perimenopause in my mid-forties, I experienced firsthand what so many of my clients had described — the brain fog, the disrupted sleep, the creeping fatigue, and yes, a cholesterol result that suddenly looked very different from the year before. Nobody had connected those dots for me. I had to connect them myself.
That experience became the foundation of my current practice. I trained as a life coach in 2016 to better support the psychological and emotional dimensions of midlife health change — because what women need isn't always another diet plan. Sometimes it's clarity, permission to prioritise themselves, and a person in their corner who genuinely understands what they're going through.
Today, my practice is built entirely around women in their forties and fifties who want to understand their bodies, manage their cholesterol without fear, and move through perimenopause with confidence. I work with a small number of clients at any one time because I believe that real support requires real attention — and I'm not interested in offering anything less than that.

How I Work
Three pillars of my practice
Nourish
Food is information, not just fuel. Every recommendation is grounded in evidence and tailored to your individual biochemistry, lifestyle, and food preferences — so the changes you make are ones you can genuinely sustain.
Understand
You deserve to know what is actually happening in your body and why. I translate lab results, hormonal shifts, and health research into plain language — because informed women make better decisions for their own health.
Thrive
Wellness is not a destination. The goal is a version of health that is quiet, consistent, and yours — where feeling well becomes your baseline rather than something you're always reaching for.
A Personal Note
Why I specialise in women's heart health
“Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in women over 50 in Ireland — and yet it remains profoundly under-discussed in the context of women's health. I believe that is partly because the conversation around women's hearts has historically been drowned out by the conversation around women's weight. They are not the same thing, and conflating them has cost women their health — and sometimes their lives.
This work matters to me because I have seen what changes when a woman finally understands what is happening in her own body. The relief. The clarity. The sense of agency. That is what I am here to give.”
